Hi. Glad you found my site. I plan to document the mini-restoration of our GMC motorhome. But first, I thought I should introduce you to my wife and I.

I am an engineer. I was born to be an engineer. I disassembled my first internal combustion engine at 8 years old or thereabouts. I understand mechanical things at an innate level. They just make sense in my mind. I can't really explain it, other than to say its like how Michelangelo saw David in a piece of Granite, I just "get" mechanics. That understanding has pushed me to do woodworking, automotive restoration, bicycle building, fabrication, model making, home building, etc. I'm what you might call a "maker" but I don't do everything digitally. I still go out into my shop, I get dirty, dusty, and greasy to create with my hands.

My wife, Jessy, is also a "maker" of sorts. She doesn't create things from scratch though. Her talent is taking something that may look worn or outdated and refreshing the appearance. She is VERY good with a paintbrush and she dominates Retro-chic. It is amazing to watch her art. Something that I might cast aside and burn, she can create something beautiful from.

Together, we form quite a team. We have renovated our house, we've done a boat, collaborated on many furniture projects, refinished people's kitchen cabinets, etc. This will be our next adventure. We want to explore this great country we live in and what better way to do it than from the seat of our very own RV!
